Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmology Accreditation

An exciting breakthrough at our aligned Greenslopes Private Hospital Clinical Site was accreditation as an interim training site for eye surgery by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmology.  Whilst A/Professor Layton stresses that his private patients were still cared for in the usual way, without the registrar’s input, the new development has had a significant impact on the Foundation’s finances, with A/Professor Layton recently donating all the proceeds from the now completed period of supervised operations to the Layton Vision Foundation itself.
